Online Shopping Terms & Conditions
1) About us:
Perris Archery is a place where customers have come to expect service that does not come to an end at the door on the way out. It is a service built on friendship and customer loyalty and with your continuing support we can continue to offer competitive prices and the same excellent service year after year.
2) Making a purchase:
We hope you find the site simple to use, but if you encounter any difficulties please contact us. Simply browse our online store, and if you would like to buy any items click the 'Add to Shopping Basket' button, after you have finished your selections, click on 'View Shopping Basket' if all OK click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Note: to checkout there is an option for customers to select their country to allow the cart to adjust the tax payable. Once the order process is complete you will receive a confirmatory email. Please note for added security we do not store credit and debit card numbers once an order has been delivered.
3a) Payment options UK & Channel Islands:
Credit Cards, Cheque, Western Union Money Transfer or International Bank Transfer. You may also advise us of your credit card details by phone (select this option at check out). For security reasons never send your details by e-mail.
Please note we are unable to process 'Electron cards' if the customer is not present.
For payments by cheque please attach a copy of the Order Confirmation email making the Cheque payable to 'Perris Archery' Postal address Perris Archery, Fennes Estate, Fennes Road, Bocking, Braintree, Essex, United Kingdom, CM7 5PL.
We will not charge for any item until it is ready to ship unless otherwise agreed or it is a Special order item or an item we have to make up i.e. Strings arrows and cutting shafts.
3b) Payment options for Export (Overseas) Orders:
Perris Archery will no longer accept credit card payments unless the order value is below £50 we only ship to the card statement which we must be able to verify. At this time we can accept Western Union Money Transfers, International Bankers Transfers or Cheque (Check).
3c) Payment Options: Title to goods:
Title to goods does not pass to the customer until full cleared payment is received by us
4) Prices:
All prices shown on this site include UK V.A.T. at the standard rate (15.00% and 0% on Books) and are subject to change.
All items are billed Pounds Sterling (GBP), if applicable VAT on books may need to be added.

Our prices and shipping costs do not include any Customs & Excise duty or local taxes that might be due.
5) Shipping And Handling:
We ensure that orders are dispatched as quickly as possible normally the same day or within 2-3 days and shipped by the fastest and most economical route. Most orders are shipped First Class, Special Delivery or ANC (main land UK only) at our discretion although there is an option to select a faster delivery method at checkout although the cart will not calculate this it has to be done manually by us. You can expect to receive your order within 14 working days subject to the item being in stock. We will contact you if an item is out of stock and give you the opportunity to back order or cancel. Special (non standard) delivery requests may also incur additional costs.
5a) FREE STANDARD UK DELIVERY ON ORDERS OF £20.00 or MORE. (Offer applies to Mainland UK deliveries only. WEF 25/7/08 this offer excludes Bosses, Stands, target Faces (shipped in bulk), Books & Magazines and some remote areas where courier surcharges apply). Flat UK (all areas) delivery charge of £1.95 for orders under £20.00.
6) Back Orders:
If your item is not in stock, we will contact you and back order for you. If you would rather not wait for an item, simply e-mail us or tell us at the time to cancel any back ordered items.
7) Our Guarantee:
All products sold are brand new, unused and as supplied directly from the respective manufacturers and/or distributors. We do not sell second hand or used products unless clearly specified otherwise. No items are sent out on a 'trial' basis. The warranty period between Perris Archery and the customer is strictly 12 month's from invoice purchase date, regardless of any warranty replacements.

9) Our Privacy Policy:
Perris Archery will not disclose our clients’ information to third parties. Cookies are not used to track orders through the system but we do use cookies to help us monitor and improve the performance of the site. Credit card details are NOT stored on the secure server once the order has been shipped.
10) Returns Policy:We want you to satisfied with the goods supplied by us so we are happy to abide by the UK's distance selling regulations.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of certain items within 7 days of delivery. You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example the making of custom strings, made up arrows or cutting shafts to length).
We regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for goods that have been, used, installed, packaging defaced or are in a non re-sellable condition as new.
To return goods, please contact us for a 'Return Authorisation Code'. Once you have this authorisation please package the relevant item securely and send it to us with a copy of the authorisation number so that we receive it within 7 working days of the date that the item was delivered to you. Our return address is PERRIS ARCHERY, Fennes Estate, Fennes Road, Bocking Braintree, Essex, England, CM7 5PL. Remember to mark package and/or customs labels with 'Returned Goods' - For added protection, we recommend that you use a recorded or insured delivery service, Perris Archery is not liable for any loss or damage whilst in return transit.- Please note that you will be responsible for all the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty on delivery. Refunds will be processed as soon as possible and no later than 30 days from the receipt of the returned goods, subject to meeting in full all requirements as set out above.
11) Acceptance of an order:
No contract will subsist between you and Perris Archery for the sale of products by us to you until your credit/debit card has been charged or cleared funds have been received. This will be deemed to be our acceptance of your offer and to have been effectively communicated to you. This is to be interpreted and enforced with the laws of England, in its entirety and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
12) Contracts:
Contracts formed between Perris Archery and users as a result of using this site shall be governed in all respects by English law and all such users hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
13) Additional Terms and Conditions for the Winter 2008/9 Promotion - 5% Discount for Repeat Customers.
Registered online customers can now get 5% off their second and subsequent orders.
If you are already a customer and use the login facility then you will be able to benefit from this promotion immediately. But back orders and retrospective discounts are not allowed or included.
A registered customer qualifying for this promotion is one that has ordered and fully completed at least one order online. Orders placed at one of our Pro Shops or over the phone do not qualify.
The discount offer will commence on the 24/9/08 at 9am and Perris Archery reserve the right to withdraw the promotion at anytime.
Uncompleted orders (not qualifying for the promotion) are where the customer may have ordered items online but has returned the goods for a full refund, or in someway not completed the order or taken delivery of the goods.
For first time customers when you complete the checkout procedure you are asked for some details including your email address and a password. These details can then be used to login next time saving you time filling in your details. Please note we do not hold customer credit card details on file they are deleted once the order has been completed.
If you complete these details with your order then you will be able to login in the future and automatically receive a loyalty discount of 5% off any subsequent orders you place with us. This promotion excludes any delivery charges that may apply.
Delivery charges are subject to our standard terms and conditions of our free delivery offer. So orders must total £20.00 or more after the discount has been applied to be considered for the free delivery offer.
You must use the login email and password registered with your first order to qualify for the discount, it is your responsibility to securely keep a record of your login details and password, and the discount cannot be retrospectively applied if these details are not used when you place the order online.
Refunds and the return of goods are subject to our standard trading terms and conditions and monies refunded will be the actual amount paid by the customer using one of the accepted methods of payment, not the amount of the order before the discount was applied.
Products excluded from the Repeat Customer 5% discount are : All Training courses, Coaching Courses, Books & Magazines and Gift Vouchers. The discount will still show on the checkout statement but the proportion attributed to the above mentioned items will not apply.
