Most Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) companies will promise the world and fail to deliver, mainly due to one major flaw in their plan…
They will promise to get your business first page results for your main keywords, so for example if your website was a site selling mobile phones they might try and get you on the first page of Google for the keyword “mobile phones”. However this same company will no doubt work for more than 10 other businesses selling mobile phones and so how can they get them all on the first page? They can’t.
Even if the search engine optimisation company has a conflict of interests policy whereby they will not promote more than a few websites from the same industry they are still competing between thousands of other search engine optimisation companies all doing the same thing.
