Accepting credit card payments with Realex
Ekmpowershop is a Realex compatible shopping cart system and integrates with Realex in just a few easy steps. Realex makes it simple to have a secure payment system that operates over the Internet. World Wide Web 'surfers' visiting a web site can pay for goods or services whilst on-line using credit or debit cards. Realex clears card transactions in seconds and cardholder accounts are directly debited.
In order to use Realex with your ekmpowershop store you must first signup for a Realex account by going to www.realex.co.uk. If you need any help with signing up with Realex our support team are more than happy to help.
Once you have got your Realex account setup you need to activate Realex processing within your ekmpowershop store, to do this you need to login to your ekmpowershop store and go to Settings > Payment Processing.
In order to Realex to process your credit card transactions you need to select it from the list. You also need to specify your unique Realex Merchant ID and Shared Secret in the space provided.
Once this is all complete you're ready to start taking payments using your ekmpowershop online shop and Realex.
