How Do I Upload An Image?
When creating your ekmPowershop site, you may wish to add images into various areas, such as the welcome area, side elements or even within category or product descriptions. When viewing the editable area where you wish the image to appear, you will see a toolbar:
Within this toolbar there is an "insert image" button. Simply place the cursor on the line where you wish the image to be added and click "insert image" to commence the process, as highlighted in red:
Clicking this button will open a pop-up window which contains various parameters. This also includes access to the image library where images are stored that have been uploaded using this facility. Simply click on the "upload" tab and you will see two options: "browse" and "send it to the server".
The "browse" button allows you to browse your computer for the image you wish to upload while the "send it to the server" button allows you to upload the image from your machine:
Please Note: The maximum size that any of your image files can be is 200kb. If they are any larger than this then you will not be able to upload them.
Once you have uploaded the image to the server, you will see a preview window displaying your image. Click on the "ok" button at the lower edge of the pop-up window to assign the addition.
