ekmPowershop offers full and easy integration with Total Web Solution's EcomMerchant payment gateway.
Total Web Solutions are a low cost, PCI Level 1 accredited Payment Service Provider who are able to facilitate secure online payments (via a pay page) and telephone/mail order payments for credit or debit cards, in association with leading UK banks. They can offer assistance with obtaining a Internet Merchant Account from Barclays, HSBC, Natwest/RBS or Lloyds TSB. Their charges start from just £10 per month with no set up fees or annual subscription fees.
The EcomMerchant solution is fully secure and offers complete transparent integration with any website. Included in the package is a secure and user-friendly administration tool for reconciliation, refunding, telephone/mail order processing and statistics.
To use Total Web Solution's EcomMerchant with ekmPowershop, you will need to:
- If you don't already have an Internet Merchant Account, ask Total Web Solutions to help you apply at Barclays, HSBC, Natwest/RBS (Streamline) or Lloyds TSB via http://www.totalwebsolutions.com/index.php?Merchant_Account (It doesn't really matter where your own bank account is.)
- Sign up for an EcomMerchant account by providing your merchant ID/s and a completed Direct Debit form
- After signing up for EcomMerchant you will receive a Customer ID (which you will need to add to your ekmPowershop control panel) and password
- You will then be able to login to the EcomMerchant administration area, where you can set a secret key under Settings Authorisation Pay Page properties (which ekmPowershop will also need) and graphically style your payment page by adding a logo, header/footer, background image and adapting the pay page to look like your own site.
Your customers will be then able to pay by credit or debit card safe in the knowledge that you are operating a PCI compliant payment collection service.
