Shopping Cart Only Mode
Ekmpowershop can work either as a complete online shop or a standalone shopping cart which you link directly to from your existing site, so your 'Buy Now' buttons would appear on your existing website.
When a customer clicks 'Buy Now' on your website the item they want is added to your ekmpowershop shopping cart. Your customer can then carry on browsing your site or checkout. When they checkout it goes through ekmpowershop shopping cart software so your getting the security and the robustness of our checkout procedure.
Setting up Shopping Cart Only Mode
In order to activate shopping cart only mode you need to log into your ekmpowershop account and go to Settings > Shopping Cart Settings. Here you can specify the URL of your online shop website that you would like to use instead of ekmpowershop online shop facilities.
Once this has been activated customers will no longer be able to browse your ekmpowershop online shop, only you can view the shop as you need to in order to add new products to your online shop.
Creating the Add to Cart Links
To add a 'Add to Cart' link on your existing website to make ekmpowershop add that item to your shopping cart you must first ensure the product or service already exists in your ekmpowershop store.
As long as the product already exists all you need to do is click on the product list generator within the Shopping Cart Settings menu.
You will then get a list of all the products in your shop, along with the price and the Add to Cart link code.
Simply copy the Add to Cart Link code into your own links on your own website.
