How ekmTags work
When your designing your online shop you can make use of a collection of special ekmPowershop codes known as ekm:Tags. These tags allow you to insert data from your online shops database into your design code, for example to display your products or company logo.
ekmTags work similar to a mail merge system in a word processor. For example you may write 'Welcome to [ekm:sitename][/ekm:sitename], we hope you enjoy your stay' and this would be displayed to visitors as 'Welcome to Toys Direct, we hope you enjoy your stay'.
It is through the ekm:Tags system that you get 100% control over the design and layout of your ecommerce website. As you can design your site using any design program from Dreamweaver to Notepad and simply use the ekm:Tags system to easily integrate your ekmPowershop store into your design.
