How Do I Add An Image?
(Please note this guide is for those users who are using the File Manager facility within their ekmPowershop.)
When creating your ekmPowershop site, you may wish to add images into various areas, such as the welcome area, side elements or even within category or product descriptions. When viewing the editable area where you wish the image to appear, you will see a toolbar:
Within this toolbar there is an "insert image" button. Simply place the cursor on the line where you wish the image to be added and click "insert image" to commence the process, as highlighted in red:
Clicking this button will open a pop-up window which contains various parameters. This also includes access to the image library where images are stored that have been uploaded via the File Manager, along with a function to upload images at that point too. To browse the image library or to upload a new image, simply click the "Browse Server" button:
You will then see a list of all Design Images that have been uploaded along with a "browse" & "upload" function at the bottom to upload images into the library. Clicking browse will prompt you to browse your machine for the image you wish to upload, while clicking upload will upload the file to the image library.
Simply click the green tick icon under the image to then be shown a preview of your selection:
Clicking "ok" will then add the image into the page where your cursor was:
Finally, click the "update" button to apply your work to that live page.
