Export ekmPowershop Data

The Import/Export system is an advanced ekmPowershop feature. It allows you to easily Export large amounts of data out of your shop such as products and orders. The Import allows you to edit all aspects of your products and categories by uploading a formatted Import file.

To access the Import/Export system please log into your ekmPowershop account and navigate to features section. Look down the list until you see the import / export feature. If you do not see the option, then you may need to install that feature. Click here to see how.

Export to File

Once you choose to export data from your shop you will then be prompted to choose the type of information you'd like to Export.

You are able to export the following data from your ekmPowershop account.

Export Products Export Categories

Export Uploaded Image List Export Customer Details

Export Orders Reuse Previous Export Settings

You are able to choose to export all your data or individual categories; Click next

Action

Select one of the actions listed above. eg. Add Product

ID of category or product. This is required for editing or deleting categories and products.

CategoryPath

Full category path. If any part of the path doesn't exist it will be automatically created. eg. Home > My Category

Name

Name of the category or product

Code

Product code. eg. MYPROD001

Description

Description of category or product.

ShortDescription

Short description of product.

Brand

Here is some Brand data here

Price

Price of product. eg. 19.99

RRP

RRP of product. eg. 29.99

URL/ID of product or category image.

URL/ID of product image.

URL/ID of product image.

MetaTitle

Meta title of category or product.

MetaDescription

Is product tax applicable? eg. Yes or No

Condition

Additional delivery amounts mapped to your delivery zones. eg. 0:5:10

GTIN

Additional delivery amounts mapped to your delivery zones. eg. 0:5:10

SpecialOffer

Is product flagged as a special offer? eg. Yes or No

OrderLocation

Order of category or product. eg. 99999 (for alphabetical order)

OrderNote

Hidden

Is category or product hidden? eg. Yes or No

The import system will always need the following fields by default to do a successful import.

XLS File
XML File

You can also download the above in a zipped format

EkmPowershop will then prepare the file for download
