Taking credit cards with ekmpowershop's secure checkout

Ekmpowershop cannot bill credit or debit cards. To take payment from a credit card you must use a merchant account obtained from a bank or online based system.

If you already have a PDQ machine and can process your own credit cards you can make use of ekmpowershops own Secure Server to take the credit card details from your customers so you can securely enter these manually into your own PDQ machine.

Alternately if you do not have any method of processing credit cards you can signup for an account with one of the many online payment gateway systems such as WorldPay. These companies will allow you to process credit cards and put the money directly into your bank account. Ekmpowershop can integrate with most online payment gateway systems, and this is achieved through the payment processing menu within your account.

In order to use the ekmpowershop secure checkout you need to login to your ekmpowershop store and go to Settings > Payment Processing. Within this menu you are able to select the kinds of payments you accept, one such payment type is credit card.

If you accept credit cards then tick the box next to the title 'Credit Card' and you then have to select how you want to use this credit card information once you are given it.

In order to use the ekmpowershop secure checkout you need to select it from the list.

Once complete simply click Update.
